Someone New is in Our Room!

There is an elf in Room #12! On Monday we welcomed "Bingle" the elf into our class! Bingle was sent by Santa to keep an eye out for GREAT behavior!

Everyday Bingle sits and watches the choices we make. When the day is done and we go home for dinner Bingle flies back home to the North Pole to tell Santa what he saw today! After he gives his report he flies back to our class and finds a new spot to watch us from!
When we come to school in the mornings we put our things away, get our journals and look for Bingle. Once we find him we draw a picture of where he is sitting in our journals!

"The elf is behind the flag and he fly to the flag."

"Bingle is by the clock"

"Bingle is eating pretzels."
Bingle is not the only addition to our room! We have decorated to help us get in the holiday spirit!
We created a chain link pattern that will help us count down the days until Christmas!

 Here is the poem!

Each day before we go home we tear off a link on the chain so we know that Christmas is one day closer!

We each have a stocking hung by our fire place. These stockings are where we earn treats for making good choices! Mrs. Richardson watches us very closely all day. When it's time to go home everyone that has 1 or less conduct marks gets a treat in their stocking!

So far we have earned candy canes from Mason, mini candy bars from Salvador and a few other treats from Mrs. Richardson. If your family would like to send a treat for us to earn in our stockings please feel free!

We love turning out the big lights and working by Christmas lights!

 Our Tree :)
Our room looks like Christmas and so does our work!

Using Q Tips to paint and increase our fine motor skills at the same time!

Working on patterns!

Pre-K are really focusing on the numbers 0-10. They should know the numbers names, amounts and the number order!

We made bird feeders to decorate a local park for the tree lighting ceremony in Acres Homes!

Working on AABB patterns.

I hope you enjoyed your look into our room! Remember that ALL of the students in room #12 will be singing at the Christmas program on Wednesday night- I really hope everyone can make it!
